CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY installs a dry colouring plant for KERABEN GROUP

CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY has supplied a complete installation with the latest dry colouring technology on the market for KERABEN GROUP, with which it will expand the production of large format porcelain stoneware.

KERABEN GROUP is a company belonging to the British group Victoria PLC, which is in the top world of ceramic producers, with a production of 40 million square meters of ceramics per year.

Bet on the latest colouring technology

This new colored product production plant has the OXINE oxide dosing set, which dose a percentage of pigments based on a preset formula. Thanks to the work of our automation team, these oxide recipes can be configured from the same monitoring system that includes the OXINE assembly, which facilitates and reduces the time of work performed in plant.

Once the pigments have been dosed on the atomised, the COLORJET 20 dry colouring system is fed to make the homogeneous mixture and obtain the coloured final product. This coloring line is the latest dry coloring technology on the market that allows to reach 20 tons/ hour of continuously colored product, while allowing to save more than 50% the energy cost of the process.

This production line, which is already in operation, optimizes the product colouring times, reduces cleaning and product change and further automates the production process of large format porcelain stoneware.
