Pneumatic conveying

Pneumatic conveying refers to the movement of solids from one place to another by means of a compressible gas, usually pressurized air, generating the movement by the pressure difference, which will always conveys the material from the place of higher pressure to the smaller. The product will move through a pipe, so using a pneumatic transport system the contamination that comes from the plant environment is eliminated and does not emit dust to the environment, achieving clean spaces for working optimally.

The result is a low maintenance cost because it lacks moving parts, also reduces downtimes and occupational hazards. For convey, high, medium and low pressures can be used, in vacuum (negative pressure) or positive pressure (blowing). In Chumillas Technology we master various types of pneumatic solids conveying: in dense batch phase, continuous dense phase, in diluted phase and semi-dense phase.
