CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY has completed the commissioning of a new colouring plant for the BALDOCER firm. With this project, the engineering of Vila-real reaffirms its leadership in the design, manufacture and assembly of coloration plants for the ceramic cluster.

BALDOCER, a Castellón firm that manufactures, designs and distributes high-value ceramic floors and coverings, with a presence in more than 130 countries, opted for CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY at the end of 2021, for the installation of a new colouring line at its Vilafamés plant, which has recently been successfully launched.

Turnkey coloring project

For the design and execution of this coloring project, the engineering department of CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY designed a coloring tower that includes a circuit of conveyor belts and weighers to weigh and transport the product, a set of OXINE dosing systems for dosing the pigments and a dry colouring system for the correct and homogeneous adhesion of the pigment to the product, for subsequent feeding to presses.

BALDOCER awarded the project to CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY thanks to the solid engineering experience in turnkey projects for the ceramic sector, for its automated solutions linked to Industry 4.0, proximity to the execution of the project and reliability of its services and products.
