CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY starts manufacturing the different engineering solutions that it has designed for the DESTINY project.

This European project, involving 14 partners, aims to design and implement a cooking solution for granular raw materials using the microwave as an alternative energy source to conventional production.

The CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY team is already in full production of the different solutions that it has designed for this project. Let us remember that the work of our R&D team consisted in providing solutions to cover the feeding, transport and dosing processes of the raw material.  In addition, these processes have automation systems that allow for more efficient resultss.

Eco-efficient solution

This project, as reported on the website, DESTINY aims to introduce a High Temperature Microwave Processing System with significant advantages in terms of resources and energy efficiency, flexibility, replicability, scalability and reduced environmental footprint. In addition, this solution will reduce CO₂ emissions by more than 40%.

The knowledge of the CHUMILLAS TECHNOLOGY team in the tile ceramic industry and their experience in offering solutions for the production lines of these factories, will contribute an added value to this project of great energy interest at European level.
